WHAT IS AVICLEAR?

NON-MEDICATION ALTERNATIVE

AviClear offers a non-medication solution as an alternative to invasive treatments such as Accutane®. Acne results from an inflammatory response caused by the blockage of hair follicles in the skin due to sebum, bacteria, and dead skin cells. WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING MY AVICLEAR TREATMENT?

Being so experienced with the laser, Nurse Teresa is able to complete treatments in under 30 minutes. Throughout the procedure, Nurse Teresa employs a handheld device to administer energy directly into your sebaceous glands. The sensation experienced during the treatment can be likened to a gentle snap of a rubber band against the skin, characterized by a manageable level of discomfort. Notably, AviClear does not necessitate the use of anesthesia. Instead, the device's AviCool™ tip is employed to cool the skin, enhancing your comfort and minimizing any potential irritation. Nurse Teresa usually suggests a series of three AviClear sessions, scheduled approximately one month apart, to achieve long-lasting relief from acne.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER MY AVICLEAR TREATMENT?

NO DOWNTIME

Following the procedure, you may notice temporary redness and swelling in the treated area, which generally diminishes within a few minutes. Unlike certain laser treatments that may lead to blistering or crusting, such side effects are rare with AviClear. You can promptly return to your regular activities without any need for social downtime.

 

In clinical studies conducted with AviClear, approximately 80% of patients witnessed a reduction of at least half their acne within three months after completing their third treatment. The majority of individuals experienced substantial improvements within six months.
